Hey, there!
My name is Olivia Moriarty and I'm a recent grad from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Arts and Entertainment Technologies with an emphasis in Game Design. As part of my early course work, I pursued Animation and learned the basics of software within Adobe Creative Cloud such as Photoshop and Illustrator. As part of my main course work, I have taken classes such as Level Design, UI/UX for Games, World Building, Video Game Production, Game Production, and many more. Throughout my four years, I have learned hard skills that would compliment jobs such as Level and Quest Designer, Narrative Designer, World Builder, UX Designer, and Game Producer.
For my secondary studies, I've achieved a certification in Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship to learn business and design fundamentals. Additionally, I was part of the first cohort of a specialization within the Moody College of Communication called Texas Immersive, where I've learned about experience design, audience development, and more.
Growing up playing video games like World of Warcraft, The Sims, Animal Crossing, Call of Duty, and many more, I recognize the incredible impact of story and community within the games industry and beyond. I want to be a part of the next generation of game designers to inspire and spark life into any project I work on.
I have a passion for creating virtual worlds and experiences that engage the audience. Many of my teammates have praised me on my enthusiasm for game development and crucial organizational skills. My goal is to make my work with a company meaningful, and create unique and exceptional user-centered experiences, whether it be games or otherwise. I'm currently seeking full-time employment and I would love to hear from you!
